Equifax Credit Monitoring
Louisiana State University (LSU) has entered into an agreement with Equifax Consumer Services, Inc. to provide identity theft protection services for students, faculty, and staff.
Scantrons & Bluebooks
Student Government provides free Scantrons and Bluebooks to students, available year round in the SG office on the third floor of the Student Union. Limit of 2 per visit.
Tigerware
LSU offers free and discounted software and hardware for download and purchase through TigerWare. This is a great place to go if you need to get a new program for your computer, or if you just need to update one you already have.
Campus Transit
LSU contracts with Capital Area Transit System (CATS) to provide bus service for students, faculty, staff, and visitors, both on and off campus. Any LSU student, faculty member, or staff member may ride a CATS bus by presenting a valid LSU identification card.
LSU Notary Public
Theresa Mooney, Notary Public, is available at the LSU Student Union Information Center from 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm on Mondays and Thursdays.
Center For Academic Success: Tutorial Centers
All tutoring is free; no appointment needed. There are usually 2 - 6 graduate and undergraduate tutors available at any given time to assist. Tutors are available to answer questions, help prepare students for exams, improve study techniques, etc.
Verizon Wirless: LSU Student Discount
LSU Police Department
The LSU Police department can provide a free escort to your vehicle during late night hours. They can also unlock your vehicle if your keys are inside, provided you have a valid LSU ID and can prove ownership of the vehicle in question.
START: Student Computer Training
The START Program is an opportunity for LSU students to learn computing skills through software and hardware training and tutoring in order to help improve their performance in their classes, in their jobs, and in their future careers. The START program is a collaborative effort between the Center for Academic Success and Information Technology Services at Louisiana State University.
Library Technology Checkout
Students may checkout laptops and digital cameras from the Circulation Desk in Middleton Library. SRS Clickers may also be rented.
