The Class of 2009 has made a lasting contribution to the Forever LSU campaign by restoring the proud tradition of the Class Gift.
This year's class has adopted a special area of campus on the west lawn of Dodson Auditorium. Through these efforts, this area will be transformed into a tranquil place for students to gather near the heart of the academic district. A paved oval path will lead through the lush garden to bench seating nestled among the beauty and history of the Quadrangle. This area will become known as the Dodson West Garden.
This meaningful gift from the Class of 2009 will leave a lasting legacy for the class which each member can be proud to return and visit year after year.
While the gift as a whole will already recognize the entire class, each graduate has the opportunity to leave his or her personal footprint on the oval path. Individual bricks are available through a tax-deductible donation for all LSU students graduating in the 2009 calendar year with an undergraduate or graduate degree.
