Student Government's sole purpose is to serve the students at Louisiana State University. It is the voice of the student body on matters ranging from university administration to parking and transportation, from academic affairs to student life.

2008 Inauguration Ceremony - Friday April 25
Newly elected SG President Colorado Robertson and Vice President Shannon Bates, along with College Council members and University Court Justices, will be sworn in to service at the 2008 Student Government Inauguration Ceremony. The ceremony will take place at 5:00pm Friday, April 25 at the steps of the LSU Bell Tower.
